ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Najma Muhammad, AICP has over a decade of professional experience in current planning, policy development, housing, community engagement, and research. ​Najma earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in her community.

​A deep commitment to serving communities unites her diverse interests in planning. Najma is passionate about fostering environments that promote a high quality of life for everyone, focusing on equitable access to housing, education, transportation, culturally appropriate food, clean water, and health services, regardless of socioeconomic status. She is dedicated to advancing the planning profession through practical application and education.​
